Reposing at the Chapel of Repose adjoining the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix from 4pm on Tuesday with removal at 6.45 pm. to St. Patrick's Church, Ballyroan for reception of remains at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in lieu to the Cuisle center Portlaoise.
Stephanie Nolan- Mountrath/ Dublin
Stephanie Nolan (Hartstown, Dublin and formerly of Mountrath, Co. Laois) September 29th 2024 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved mother of Siobhan.
Sadly missed by her loving daughter, sister Denise, brothers Gerard, Peter and David, Siobhan’s dad Christy, brother-in-law Robert, sisters-in-law Berni, Helen and Ann, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla on Tuesday evening (October 1st) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (October 2nd) to St. Ciaran’s Church, Hartstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium at 12 o'clock. Pat Scully, Millbrook, Portlaoise Co. Laois. Died September 26th 2024. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. (Retired Prison Officer). Predeceased by his wife Margaret and son Mark. Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Sharon and her partner Cliff, grandchildren Ryan, Emma and Kate, brothers Kevin and Brendan, sister Trica, sisters in law, brothers in law, aunt Peg, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4pm to 5:30pm with rosary at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2:30pm in SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul's cemetery.
Edith Doyle (née Deffew)- Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Edith Doyle (nee Deffew) St Brigids Place Portlaoise. September 26th 2024 . Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick and son Paul.
Dearly loved mother to Patrick, Gerard, Tracey (O’ Sullivan), Eugene, and Alison (Maher). Cherished grandmother to her 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family. Sister Ellen Higgins, and brother Richard Deffew, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
