John Dollard- Durrow
John, lovingly known as Jack, died peacefully at his home, on 2nd April 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Anastatia, his brothers Patrick, Walter and Thomas, his sister Anastatia (Daisy).
Jack will be forever loved and missed by his loving wife Mary, son Patrick (Pat), daughters Marie and Carmel, his brother Michael, sister Sr. Mary Christina (May), grandchildren Danny, Conor, Aoife, Edel, Nadene, Tara, Roisín, Aíne, Aaron and Molly, great grandchild Kaelyn, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May Jack Rest In Eternal Peace.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the home support teams, community nurses, GP Dr. John Madden and his staff, Durrow Pharmacy and all who supported them with their dedicated care to Jack.

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Guilfoyle of Dara Park, Newbridge and late of Mountrath, Co. Laois. Jimmy passed on 2nd April 2026 peacefully at Naas Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Loving husband of the late Margaret (Peg). Sadly missed by his loving son Mark, daughter Lynda, daughter-in-law Caroline, grandchildren Lauren, Charlie, Seán, brother, sisters, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Julie Fitzpatrick- Clonaslee, Laois / Mountmellick, Laois / Achill Sound, Mayo
The death has occurred of Julie Fitzpatrick (nee Murphy), Tinnahinch, Clonaslee, Co Laois, & formerly of Achill Sound, Co. Mayo & Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Julie passed away peacefully on the 2nd of April 2026 at her home in her 90th year.
Deeply regretted by her husband Frank of 66 years, her daughters Patricia (Ward) & Eliz (Daly), her son Frank, her sons-in-law Joe & Neil, her daughter-in-law Claudine, cherish grandmother of Grace, Annemarie, Mark, James, Eilish, Eimear, Siobhan, Gary & Luke, her 7 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & friends.

Charlotte Jane Carter - Ballyroan
The death has occurred of Charlotte Jane Carter, Crubbin, Ballyroan, who died on April 1 in her 83rd year at Portlaoise hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband William, and her son Nigel, her brothers Richard and John.
Deeply saddened by her children, Andrew, Cecil, Jean, Leslie, Jacqueline and Edith, son-in-law Michael O' Sullivan and daughter-in-law Karen Carter and their families.
She will be missed by her grandchildren, Charlotte Doheny, Rebecca Buggy, Keara O'Connor, Megan Carter, Jack Carter, Billy O'Sullivan, Amy Carter and their partners, Keith, Brèanainn, Joseph, David and Kirsty.
Her great-grandchildren are Michael, Donnchadh, Einìn, Archie, Aodhàn, Gràinne, Finn, Mèabh and Sè. Her sister Alice and her brother-in-law Padraig, cousins, nieces, nephews and many relatives.
Charlotte will be greatly missed by her many friends, neighbours and community carers.

Leaving her home for a service of Thanksgiving for the life and witness of Charlotte Jane arriving at Portlaoise Methodist Church on Saturday April 4th at 3pm. Interment will follow at St Patrick's Cemetery Ballyroan/Abbeyleix rd via Passing her home at Crubbin, Ballyroan enroute to the cemetery.
Michael Conroy - The Heath
The death has occurred of Michael Conroy, the old Dublin Road, The Heath, on March 31 unexpectedly.
Predeceased by his parents Gilpen and Margaret, brothers Tommy, Gozzy and Christopher. Deeply regretted by his partner Kathleen, children Michael-Lee, Rebecca, Tiffany and Tanisha, grandchildren, brothers Eddie, Andrew and Jimmy, sister Theresa, son-in-law Oisin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Friday evening April 3 from 5pm until 6.30 pm with rosary at 6 pm. Funeral arriving to SS Peter and Paul's Church Portlaoise on Saturday for 2 pm funeral liturgy followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery Portlaoise.

The death has occurred of Ann (Nancy) Delaney, (née McDonald), Park, Athenry, Co Galway and formerly Killabban, Maganey, Co Laois and Raheny, Dublin who died peacefully on March 31.
Predeceased by her parents, sisters Noleen and Mary Claire, brothers Jack, Addie and Jim.
Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Michael, son Patrick, daughters Bríd and Mary Claire, daughter in-law Patty, sons in-law James and Adrian, cherished grandmother of Matthew, Joshua, Izzy, Ethan, Aisling, Donnacha and Ava, her sister Bridie, brothers Tom and Martin, sisters in-law Mary and Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Hannah McDonald - Castlecomer
The death has occured of Hannah McDonald (Nee Deighton), Chatsworth, Clogh, Castlecomer, Kilkenny & Laois peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 2 aged 96.
Predeceased by her loving husband William, sisters Mary, Bridie (Cahill), Sr. Adel, brothers Johnny, Patsy, Michael, Jimmy & Nicholas, son-in-law Pat Julian, grandson Liam Lalor and great-grandson Eoin Julian.
Loving mother to John, Mike, Sheila, Agnes, Mary, Liam, Noreen, Chris and Paddy.
Sadly missed by her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer (R95 AK38) on Good Friday from 3 pm concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 6.30 pm.
