Camross Truck and Tractor Run to take place next month.
This year's Camross Truck and Tractor Run is set to once again raise much needed funds for Laois Offaly Families For Autism (LOFFA). This year's tractor run will take place on Sunday, October 12 and the truck run the following weekend on Saturday, October 18.
Last year a massive €17,044 was raised from the popular Laois event with €16,044 presented to LOFFA and €1,000 was given to Camross Parish.
Tickets are now available for the raffle and cost €5 each. 1st prize is €500, 2nd prize €300 and 3rd prize €200. Tickets are available from all committee members and from LOFFA. The draw will take place on the night of the truck run on October 18 in The Camross Inn.

A GoFundMe page has been launched by the committee ahead of this year's event.

"More information about LOFFA: LOFFA is a local, non-profit charity based in Laois and Offaly in Ireland. We support our membership of over 169 local families who have a child with a diagnosis of autism. All funds raised go directly to subsidising vital services needed for their children such as Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Play Therapy, Behavioural therapy and Counselling. LOFFA also offers a programme of social events to families such as swimming, cinema outings, coffee mornings and monthly meetings."
