About 30 members of Mountmellick Comhaltas went on a trip to Bru Boru Cultural Centre in Cashel recently.
It was a highly entertaining evening with a tour of the Exhibition followed by a show consisting of dance and music.
The evening finished with an informal session in their Teach Ceoil where our musicians got to take part with other members of the audience and with members of the show.
It was agreed that we should do this or similar again as everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night. Group music practice continues for the Leinster Fleadh in Moate.
Mountmellick Comhaltas are hoping that members will attend the Portlaoise Summer Session on the Thursday after the Leinster Fleadh. All welcome.
