A Christmas truck will visit a lucky Laois town this weekend as the festive lights are switched on.
This amazing giant American truck will be stopping in Portarlington, on Saturday December 3, from 6pm to 8pm in the square.
The town's beloved Christmas tree has been erected once again, after a local fundraising callout brought in over €1,600. Link below.
The lights will be switched on at about 7,15pm, while the truck is in place, with the community invited to come along for the big moment.
The committee have also thanked everyone who donated to their collection in SuperValu Portarlington.
