On Thursday October 10, Laois skies were filled with dazzling colours of green, purple, pink and red.
The Leinster Express/Laois Live have received dozens of striking pictures of the Northern Lights taken by people across the county.
For those who missed out on their chance to witness this stunning natural event, the aurora borealis will once again be visible from 8pm on Friday. The spectacle is to be less vivid as Thursday night, with the colours to appear more clearly in areas with little light pollution.
To view Northern Lights at their strongest, look at the sky through your phone camera, without using the flash and with high exposure.
