The tractor run will embark on a round trip to Mountrath via Portlaoise and its surrounds. The official stop-off for refreshments will be at Eddie Kirwan’s Bar in Mountrath.

All vehicles will return to Treacy’s between 3.30pm and 4.00pm where a full meal, hosted by the Treacy family, will be served and commemorative plaques distributed to each participant.

“As always, we like to assure our supporters and sponsors that all monies received by Laois Vintage will be donated directly to Laois Hospice, and members of the public, who give so generously, can be confident that each and every donation received will go solely and exclusively to Laois Hospice care,” Laois Vintage Limited said ahead of this year’s run.

The organisation has managed to raise a massive €1,147,354 for Laois Hospice since it was established in 1996.

The organisers behind Laois Vintage Limited said: “This outstanding sum could not have been achieved without the unwavering support we have received, year after year, from our fellow vintage enthusiasts, friends and fellow supporters, and for this we are truly grateful.

“Not only do our participants at this event share the joy of taking their vintage vehicle on the open road, but support and acknowledge the vital work carried out by our local hospice.”

The organisation has welcomed everyone to join in on the day.
