The trio who are, Paul Feery, Philip Klubicka and Limerick native Conor Gibbons, warmly welcome all to join them for what promises to be a joyful Christmas concert in to St Fintan's Parish Church, Mountrath at the end of November.

And adding to the occasion, the Mountrath’s “very own Claire Byrne” of Newstalk will compere the entertainment that will also feature talented young soprano, Caoimhe Fitzpatrick who is also from Mountrath. The pupils from Scoil Bhríde and St Fintan's Boys School are also on the bill.

The Three Tenors have performed for over 15 years, with concerts in major venues such as the National Concert Hall Dublin, Cork Opera House, Dublin Castle, Belfast Lyric Theatre, and St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin.

They were selected by the Irish Government to headline the 1916 Centenary State Reception in Dublin Castle.

Caoimhe, meanwhile, began taking singing lessons at age 6 under the guidance of her vocal coach Patricia Finnegan-Newell. Over the years, she has built an impressive list of achievements, winning awards at Feis Ceoil, including the prestigious Patricia Black Cup.

Her passion for music has also led her to become involved with a number of renowned choirs. She previously performed with the Irish youth choir and is currently a member of the award-winning Maynooth University chamber choir.

Caoimhe will also be performing with the Portlaoise Singers at their annual concert on December 13 in Portlaoise at St Peter’s Church.

The concert will feature a blend of Christmas favourites such as O Holy Night, Merry Christmas Everyone, with other popular hits such as Nessun Dorma, Caledonia, The Parting Glass and many more!
