Stephanie Quinlivan
One of the first married Laois women to enter the Rose of Tralee festival is Raheen lady Stephanie Quinlivan.
The festival removed its rule of being single in 2021, and professional pet sitter Stephanie is perhaps the first Laois wife to enter Laois Rose, which returns this year after a four year break.
Stephanie is sponsored by Nua Healthcare and lives in Raheen.
"I am turning 28 shortly. I am a married independent woman and a professional pet sitter.
"I am originally from Galway but I am currently living in Laois. I completed my Junior Cert and Leaving Cert. I enjoy singing and art and crafts.
"I am passionate about animal welfare and human rights," she says.
All of the Laois Rose entrants will take to the stage in the Midlands Park Hotel this Easter Sunday night, April 9, in a gala event supported by an audience of their families and communities. The winning Laois Rose will go on to the Rose of Tralee televised final this August.
Tickets are €25 and will be available on the evening so get there early. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7.30pm sharp.
See this week's Leinster Express newspaper for profiles of all 17 Laois Rose Entrants.
