Laois village set for twinkling Christmas beginning with festive fair

Light switch on in 2019

Timahoe is set to be twinkling for the festive season after a big local effort which comes to fruition at the switch on during the Christmas Christmas Fair in the village.

The annual Christmas fair returns to the grounds of the Heritage centre on Saturday, December 3 from 3pm to 7pm. All arts and crafts stalls are welcome.

The village Christmas lights will be officially switched on at 6pm during the festive fair. All welcome to come along for some festive cheer and there is a good chance the man with the red coat will be there!

A big thanks were extended to all who assisted in repairing the damaged Christmas lights and the installation of the new ones which are sure to look twinkle and hopefully bring joy to all during the festive season in the Laois village.
