The death took place on Tuesday, September 26 of Paul Dempsey of Kilbride, Portarlington, and formerly of Ballyshane, Bracknagh County Offaly.
Suddenly. Loving son of the late Paschal and Bernadette. Sadly missed by his loving wife Elaine, darling daughter Nadine, sister Julie, brothers Ambrose, Joseph, Paschal, Michael, Aidan, John and Dermot, uncles, aunts, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephew, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 E9K6) on Thursday evening from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 11am arriving St Michael's Church, Portarlington, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.
Kreena Bateson - Rathdowney
The death took place on Monday, September 25 of Kreena (Kay) Bateson (née Attwell) of “Shadowlands” Old Mooreville, Rathdowney, and formerly Crumlin, Co. Dublin and London, U.K.
Peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise in the company of her family. Predeceased by her husband Peter and her sister Janet. Sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters Margaret and Katherine, grandson Hayden-Peter, Katherine's partner Jason and his children Simone and Oisín , brothers Noel and Jimmy, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, her dear friend Breda extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends both in Ireland and the U.K.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem mass at 11am followed by interment in the local cemetery.

Jim Lawlor - Portarlington
The death took place on Monday, September 25 of Jim Lawlor of Ballycarroll, Portarlington.
Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Loving son of the late Pat and Maura Lawlor. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Liz and Mai, brothers-in-law Jerome and Ken, nephews Diarmuid and Joe, nieces Lucy and Elise, uncle Eugene, aunts Margaret, Rose, Breda and Anne, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence (Eircode R32 YW77) on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:15am arriving St John's Church, Killenard for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Maureen Reynolds - Portlaoise
The death took place on Saturday, September 23 of Maureen Reynolds (née Dooley) of Beladd Upper, Portlaoise, and formerly of Barking, Essex.
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity, at Tullamore Hospital. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Robert (Bob) and adored mother of Sophia and Shane. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, daughter and son, her sister Ann, brother John, in-laws, family circle, friends, neighbours and work colleagues in Mulhall's Supervalu.
Reposing at St Peter’s (Church of Ireland) Church from 6:30pm, with Service of Evening Prayer at 8pm. Wednesday 27th September, reposing at home from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm. Thursday 28th September, Requiem Mass at St Peter and St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church at 2pm, Portlaoise, followed by burial at The Holy Trinity Church, The Rock of Dunamase.
