Emma Fogarty will speak about the new documentary with her friend Colin Farrell The Slightest Touch

Abbeyleix hero Emma Fogarty, the patient ambassador for Debra Ireland, will be a guest on tonight’s Late Late Show.

Emma is the star of a new documentary about to stream on HBO Max with her friend, Hollywood actor Colin Farrell.

The Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) campaigner will join Patrick to talk about The Slightest Touch.

The powerful documentary film follows Emma and her longtime friend, actor Colin Farrell, as they embark on the challenge of completing the Dublin Marathon together, raising over one million euro for Debra Ireland.

Emma will talk about her memories of this epic endeavour, her extraordinary friendship with Colin, and how she feels about their story being released around the world.

The Debra Ireland charity is hoping everyone will tune in.

“Two years after Emma and Colin Farrell crossed the finish line at the Irish Life Dublin Marathon, she's back to talk about life with EB, the making of The Slightest Touch by Rachel Fleit , HBO Max, and what's changed since that day.

“So many of you have been there since the very start. You cheered every step of that marathon, you shared Emma's story with the people you love. And two years on, you're still here.

“We can't tell you how much that means to us, and to every family living with EB in Ireland. Tune in to RTÉ One at 9.50. We'll be watching and cheering her on,” they say.

#TheSlightestTouch premieres on 26 November on HBO Max.

The Late Late Show will also celebrate the late Ciara Mageean’s remarkable life and legacy. Ciara’s friends and fellow athletes Ellen Keane and Thomas Barr will join Patrick to pay tribute and remember her as one of Ireland’s most beloved sports stars.

Soap legend Julie Hesmondhalgh, best known for her role as Hayley Cropper on Coronation Street, will chat about her meteoric rise and fall on this year's Celebrity Traitors in the UK. She'll also discuss her groundbreaking role as the first transgender character on Coronation Street, life after leaving the cobbles behind, and why a previous visit to Ireland was her first real taste of fame.

The man who went toe-to-toe with Messi, Roberto “Pico” Lopes, will talk to Patrick about his incredible summer living the dream with the Cape Verde team in the World Cup, Shamrock Rovers’ championship success and how he keeps his feet on the ground back home with his family.

Cork comedian Chris Kent will join straight from the stage of the 3Arena. He'll chat to Patrick about his new documentary, which followed his attempts to navigate life without the internet, and his new tour which brings his comedy all around Ireland.

As well as this, Patrick will meet the man who nearly beat the world number one darts star Luke Littler, Cavan’s Pearse Mackle.
