Met Éireann has warned that Strom Isha is like to knock trees
Storm Isha has caused Ireland's Road Safety Authority to warn drivers, cyclists and pedestrians in Laois and other counties to be on high alert as the storm hits.
The RSA wants people to be extra cautious out on the roads on Sunday 21 January and Monday 22 January as Met Éireann have issued Weather Warnings for Storm Isha which is set to feature violent storm-force winds of nearly 120 km/h in sea areas.
Road users in areas affected by the Orange Warning are advised to check local traffic and weather conditions before setting out on a journey.
