'Disruptive snow' warning in weekly weather forecasters warn

Cold air will clash with warm air giving rise to snow with highest risk on Thursday

Met Éireann's official weather forecasting partner has warned of disruptive snow in the week ahead with polar cold set to lead to snow this week.

The Met Office warns that throughout the upcoming week, cold air to the north will clash with warm air to the south. It says that where these two opposing air masses meet, snow is increasingly likely. The Met Office says the precise location of this snow is  uncertain as of Monday, February 5.
