Joseph Graham - Ballickmoyler

The death took place on Wednesday, March 1 of Joseph Graham of Tollerton House, Ballickmoyler. 

In the tender care of the management and staff of Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow; predeceased by his wife Sheila (2014). Joseph will be sadly missed by his sons Thomas and Andrew, daughter Fionnula, son-in-law Ken, grandchildren Luke and Eve, sister Una Brennan, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGuill’s Funeral Home, Bennekerry (Eircode: R93 E5N7) on Thursday, 2nd March from 4.30pm concluding with Prayers at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 4th March at 11am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Pat Regan - Portlaoise

The death took place on Tuesday, February 28 of Pat Regan of Tea Lane, Old Knockmay Rd. Portlaoise and formerly Summerhill Lane.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. After a long illness, borne with dignity and patience. Dearly loved husband of Bernie and loving father to Bryan and his partner Samantha. Cherished grandfather to Charlie and Arthur. Deeply regretted by his loving uncle Peter and aunt Francis Kelly, his cousins, neighbours and friends, also his colleagues, customers and friends in Irish Dairy Services.

Reposing at his residence from 3pm on Thursday with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul's Church for 12 noon Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise. Please observe Covid precautions.

Mary Flanagan - Errill

The death took place on Tuesday, February 28 of Mary Flanagan of Ballagh, Errill, and formerly Castlefleming, Errill.

Peacefully at her home. Deeply regretted by her husband John, daughters Fiona and Catherine, sons-in-law Jason and John, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in The Church of Our Lady, Queen of The Universe, Errill followed by burial in St. Kieran's Cemetery Errill.

Joseph Bergin - Rathdowney

The death took place on Sunday, February 26 of Joseph Bergin of Chicago, USA and formerly Kilbreedy, Rathdowney.

Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Bridget and his brothers Paddy, Billy, Tommy, Matthew and sister Theresa. Devoted husband of Ann "Nancy" Delaney (Coolagh, Clonaslee). Loving father of Dee (Flaherty), Matthew, John, Joseph and Annie (Dwyer), sons and daughters-in-law, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, brothers Peter, and sisters Mary and Anna, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass and burial will take place on Friday at the Visitation Church, Elmhurst, Chicago. Memorial Mass will be held in St. Canice's Church, Clough on Monday, 6th March, at 7.30pm.

Gabriel Brophy - Rathdowney

The death took place on Sunday, February 26 of Gabriel Brophy of Johnstown Glebe, Rathdowney. 

Suddenly and peacefully at home. Predeceased by his Mam and Dad and his brothers John and Anthony. Sadly missed by his fiancée Veronica and her son Johnaton, brother Ted and his partner Maise, brother Declan and his wife Mary, his sisters, Sr. Phyllis, Elsie and her husband Billy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney (www.parishwebsites.ie/rathdowney) followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Seán Clear - Ballacolla

The death occurred of Seán Clear of Farren Cross, Ballacolla on Friday, February 17. 

Tragically in Taumarunui, New Zealand. Predeceased by his beloved Nanny Ev and Granddad Tommy. Sorely missed by his heartbroken family, parents Tom and Julie and sister Ella, Granny Mary, Granddad Jerry, Godparents Ger and Claire, Godson Charlie, aunts Donna, Elaine, Nicola, Emma, Liz, Stephanie and Natascha, uncles Paul, James, Martin, Glynn, Eddie and Barry, cousins Jack, Chloe, Lorna, Oran, Chloe, Kizzie, Cian, Rachel, Caleb, Laoise, Arran. Roisin, Aoibhinn, Eabha, Saoirse, Frankie, Charlie, Anna, Culainn, Kayla and Taylor and a wide circle of relatives and friends.

Provisional arrangements are that he will repose at his residence on Thursday and Friday evening with Funeral Mass on Saturday. This will be confirmed on Wednesday with the appropriate times. Seán's family have requested that the house remain private from Monday to Wednesday please. 

Pat Flynn - Clonaslee

The death took place on Sunday, February 26 of Pat Flynn of Cluain Orga and formerly of Main Street, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and Clonaslee.

Peacefully at St. Teresa’s Nursing home, Cashel. Pat, beloved brother of the late Bill and Tom. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Carmel (nee Burke), son Tommy, daughter Caitriona Creed, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Stephanie, grandchildren Sarah, Darragh, Cillian, Lucy and Emily, sisters Ann Flynn, Esther Conway, Kit Flynn and Sarah Ellis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home this Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel at 2.30pm and can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/cashel-parish-stream/ followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
