Fresh from their All-Ireland Premier Junior triumph over Armagh in August, Laois have swept the board in the PwC GPA Premier Junior Player of the Year nominations. The O’Moore County account for all three spots on the shortlist, with captain Clodagh Tynan joined by teammates Aimee Collier and Gráinne Delaney.

Tynan is bidding to retain the prestigious award, having been crowned Player of the Year in 2024 after Laois' narrow All-Ireland final defeat to Tipperary in Croke Park. Now, after leading her side to All-Ireland glory, she is in the running once again.

Collier finished the 2025 championship as the top scorer in the Premier Junior Championship with her tally of 8-34 (58 points), just about beating Armagh's Sinead Quinn, who scored 9-27 (54 points).

Delaney was excellent for Laois throughout the campaign, with her 1-2 in the All-Ireland final seeing her named as Player of the Match.

Speaking at the announcement of the nominations, Brian Molloy, Uachtarán an Chumainn Camógaíochta, said: “I want to congratulate all the players who have been nominated for the 2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards. Comhghairdeas libh go léir. This shortlist reflects the exceptional skill, commitment and passion we witnessed throughout what was a thrilling season. I would like to thank PwC for their continued partnership in recognising excellence in our game, and I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic celebration of Camogie in November.”

Enda McDonagh, Managing Partner at PwC, said: "On behalf of everyone at PwC, I extend heartfelt congratulations to the 36 nominees for the 2025 PwC Camogie All-Stars, as well as those shortlisted for the PwC GPA Camogie Senior, Intermediate and Premier Junior Players of the Year. These nominations reflect the exceptional skill, dedication and commitment shown by players throughout the season. At PwC, celebrating excellence and nurturing talent are values that are central to our firm. We look forward to joining the camogie community in celebrating these achievements on 15th November."

Tom Parsons, CEO at the Gaelic Players Association, said: “To be recognised by your peers for your outstanding performances is really something very special and that is why the PwC GPA Players’ Player of the Year award is held in such high esteem. The winner will be voted for by your fellow players. To each of the nominees across the three tiers, you should take great pride that you have been selected as being among the best of the best in 2025. And to all of the players who have been nominated for PwC Camogie All-Stars, congratulations.”

The winners will be announced at the PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards in Croke Park on Saturday, November 15.
