Formerly of 6 Doonane Terrace, Crettyard, Co. Laois. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and William, brother George, sister Patty, nephew Shane and grand-nephew Baby Shane. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen, son Joseph, daughter Margaret, brothers Jimmy, Liam and John, sisters Nano, Peggy, Teresa, Maura, Bernadette and Claire, daughter-in-law Kathleen, Margaret's partner Kevin, grandchildren Jake and Kyle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his daughter Margaret's residence, Ballylinan (R14 AE33) on Wednesday evening (September 24th) from 6pm until 9pm and on Thursday from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Friday morning (September 26th) to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Balylinan Cemetery.

Richard ( Dick) Holohan - Rathdowney
The death has occurred of Richard (Dick) Holohan, Middlemount, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Kennedy Park, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, September 21st. 2025, peacefully at the Midland's Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Bridget, his late wife Kit, sister Mary, brothers John and James (who died in infancy) and stepson Terry. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his son Ger, daughter-in-law Caroline, his adored grand daughters Lauren, Jess and Zara, brothers Tony, Denis, Joe and Noel, sisters Bride, Kathleen, Phil and Ber, stepdaughter Monica and her family, stepson Richard and his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Rest In Peace.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Wednesday evening September 24th. from 6 o'clock pausing for prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Canice's Church, Clough arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney. Seamus Behan - Ballyfin
The death took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 of Seamus Behan, Esker More, Daingean, Offaly and late of Ballyfin, Co. Laois.
Seamus passed away (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne, at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Maureen. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Therese, children Sonia and her partner Conor, Karen, Stuart and his wife Elaine, grandchildren Jamie, Luke, Jack, Seanie, Noah, Charlotte and Lanah, brothers Donal, Tom and Val, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Seamus will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 VK24) this Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am in Mary Mother of God Church, Daingean followed by burial in Cloncrane Cemetery Clonbullogue. Funeral Mass via the webstream.

The death took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 of Joe Molloy, Elm Lawn, Portlaoise, Laois / formerly Rossmore Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin.
Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Deeply regretted by his extended family, neighbours and friends, and his carers and home help team. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Keegans Funeral home Portlaoise on Tuesday from 5 pm until 6.30 pm. Cremation will take place at Newlands Crematorium on Wednesday at 12 noon.
