The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Doheny, Fr.O'Connor Crescent, Mountrath. Tom passed away peacefully on September 17 at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ann. Dear father to Martha, Francis, Thomas and Anthony. Sadly missed by his family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Joe, Michael and Donie, sister Marie, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his daughter and son-in-law’s home CLUAININ Portlaoise Road Mountrath eircode R32TR52 on Friday evening, September 19 from 6.0’clock with Rosary at 7.30p.m. Removal on Saturday afternoon, September 20 to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath eircode R32X338, for Requiem Mass at 12.30p.m. followed by Interment in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Michael Hogan - Shanahoe
The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Hogan, formerly of Shannon and Inagh Co Clare / Shanhoe, Abbeyleix who died peacefully at St Theresa’s Nursing Home in Kilrush on September 16.
Deeply regretted by his daughters Catherine and Christina, his sons Alan and Micheál, sons in law Pat Miniter and Martin Frawley, daughters in law Niamh and Claire. Grandchildren Luke, Shane, Sophie, Katie, Jessica, Daniel, Jamie, Cillian and Kyle, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his daughter’s residence Eircode V95 R3P1 Bruach Na Habhainn, Quin Road, Ennis, Co. Clare Friday, September 19 from 5pm to 8pm. Arriving for Funeral Mass at Church of the Immaculate Conception, Inagh Saturday, September 20 at 12 noon. Cremation to follow at 2pm in Shannon Crematorium.

Patricial Mary Lally - Ballyroan / Abbeyleix
The death has occurred of Patricia Mary Lally (née Behan) Ballyroan / Abbeyleix, Laois / Bray, Co Wicklow on September 17 peacefully, in the care of her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Cormac, her brothers Finnie, Jim, her sisters Molly, Nora and Lily, Patricia will be sadly missed by her daughters Geraldine, Anne (McKenna), Catherine (McGowan), her sons Cormac & Richard, sons-in-law David, Anselm & Vince, daughters-in-law Eileen & Collette, her grandchildren Cormac, Caitríona, Diarmuid, Fintan, Ross, Orla, Clíodhna, Eábha, Aidan, Tomás, Sadhbh, Amelia, Conor & Caoímhe and her wide circle of extended family and friends.
Reposing at her daughter's house Ballyroan (R32 W3Y9) Friday, September 19 from 3-6pm. Reception of remains to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, at 7pm Friday, September 19, with Requiem Mass at 11am on Saturday, September 20, followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Abbeyleix.

Kevin Moroney - Mountrath
The death has occurred of Kevin Moroney, New Line Road, Mountrath and formerly of Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Kevin (ex-Garda Siochana) passed away peacefully on the 16th September 2025, at the Mountpleasant Lodge Nursing Home, Kilcock, Co Kildare.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Rhoda, daughter Orla, brothers Sean, David, and Cormac, sister Vera.
Dear father to Rhonda, Kevin, Deirdre, Sean and Sinead. Sadly, and deeply missed by his family, and their partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Brian, Fergus, sister Mabel, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home on the New Line Road eircode R32XW31on Friday evening, September 19 from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal will take place on Saturday morning, September 20 to St Edmund’s Church Castletown eircode R32KT22, for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by Internment in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
