Delays on M7 as three trucks crash between Laois junctions

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Laois gardaí have issued warnings to motorists of three crashes on Laois sections of the M7 this morning.

At 8:05 between Junction 15 and Junction 14 heading westbound, a truck hit a barrier on the south side of the road, with debris left on the motorway. This debris has since been cleared.

At 8:50am on the M7 between Junction 16 and Junction 17 Portlaoisea truck travelling westbound lost control, leading to a collision.

The truck has been towed, and the lane has been cleared.

At 09:10 between Junction 16 and 17, a repair truck attending the scene was attempting to close off the affected second lane, when it was struck by a vehicle.

Gardaí have told the Leinster Express / Laois Live that inquiries are ongoing.
