A three car collision took place in the centre of a Laois town on Sunday morning, February 15 in Portlaoise, during heavy rains which it is believed may have contributed to make driving conditions more dangerous.
Laois Gardaí have confirmed to the Leinster Express / Laois Live that the collision took place at about 11am, on James Fintan Lalor Avenue.
It is understood that a driver was merging into another lane when their car collided with two other cars.
The airbags were deployed but luckily nobody was injured.
